Festival of Cao Bang
There are vibrant cultural celebrations in Cao Bang, bringing together communities with traditional music, dances, and colorful performances. These events showcase the unique customs of the region and offer a special opportunity for people to experience local heritage and connect with one another.


Nang Hai Festival
This is a harvest praying custom in Tien Thanh (Phuc Hoa), Kim Dong (Thach An), often lasting for many nights of singing. The main ritual is to invite the spirit of the moon to enter the village girl, then the group sings along, many songs were composed in the past, the content is to pray for the Hai Mothers in the sky (some places have 6 Mothers, some places have 12 Mothers) to give good offspring, to destroy insects, to have favorable weather and wind, and for the people to be healthy. The last day is the day of the long tong festival to send the moon's spirit back to heaven.



Thanh Minh Festival
Held annually in Phuc Sen commune, Quang Uyen district. The festival was initiated by the Nung An ethnic group and held on Thanh Minh day every year, with the meaning of praying for favorable weather for the villagers and wishing happiness for couples.


Hang Toan Festival (also known as the market festival)
It is both a place for entertainment and a place for buying and selling, mainly attended by young men and women, taking place in almost all districts in the province. In addition to buying and selling, exchanging goods, and meeting at the market, people can know the situation of relatives to send messages to men and women to date and get to know each other.


TUNG CON FESTIVAL
Also known as soo dum, it is a traditional game of the Tay and Nung ethnic groups on holidays, Lunar New Year, or in spring festivals such as pagoda festivals, temple festivals, long tong festivals...The con is usually made of brocade fabric bags, quadrilateral in shape, with a belt, decorated with colorful tassels. Inside the con can be sand, rice or gravel, lead (small) to prevent the wind from blowing the way. The con is tied to a 90-100cm long string, the end of the string is a green or red tassel called "vầu con" to hold when tossing.There are two popular ways to toss the con: tossing the con through the ring to compete for a prize and tossing the con for fun in the spring for young men and women to make friends and date.


LONG TONG FESTIVAL
The Long Tong Festival, held after Lunar New Year in valley villages, is a harvest praying ceremony. Activities like playing the con, carrying dragons, and singing Sli Luong may occur, but the key element is the reading of wishes by Ong Tao, Ba Then, or Nang Hai, praying for prosperity, abundance, and peace.
